When I started working in a butcher’s shop at 18, I knew nothing about meat. After a few months I knew how to bone and make some sausages.
When I started working as a carpenter apprentice at the age of 20, I knew absolutely nothing about solid wood or chipboard. After a year I built a sideboard that is still in my parents’ kitchen.
When at the age of 22 I started working in the kitchen, I only know how to prepare ready-made dishes. After a year I replaced the cook one evening and I cooked for abbout sixty people. Later I found myself working in Michelin Stars restaurants to cook also for Fabio Capello, Mel Gibson, Russell Crowe, The Cardigans, Brigitte Nielsen and many others …
Further on:
I knew nothing about delivering pizzas at home, and I learned.
I knew nothing about the nightly delivery of newspapers, and I learned.
I knew nothing about working in a factory, after a year I became head of a team of 60-65 people.
I did not know Danish, nor Swedish, nor Spanish or Ladin, and I learned them.
I didn’t know anything about photography and in 2015 I set up a photo exhibition.
I didn’t know anything about radio and I had my own show.
I didn’t know anything about international transport and I learned to send goods worldwide.
I didn’t know that I could walk 1600 km for 52 days solo and I did it.
I didn’t know that I could leave my job and invent one based on what I love to do, and I’m succeeding.
There are so many things we don’t know and we often think they are more difficult than they really are.
The truth is that it is enough to move, take the first step, to discover that we can do so much, much more than we imagine. The truth is that we can do something before we are forced to do it.
Think of how many things you have done in your life, think of how many things you have learned, how many goals you have achieved.
Remember it, imprint it well in your head and never forget your value and how much you managed to do. Think of all the difficult situations you managed to get out of.
Think of how many things that seemed impossible were you able to do!
And when you think that you will not be able to do something, when fear grips you and you are afraid of making mistakes or failing, remember even more about your strength and how capable you are.
You have done so much, you can do everything!
